Holiday visit

January 12, 2008 · No Comments

Mike and our little brother made a holiday visit to Disneyland and CA and these are some of the photos they took. I thought y’all would enjoy seeing some of the holiday decorations. Which reminds me of what I should be doing this weekend, putting my stuff back in the attic until December 2008. I wonder how many Rubbermaid containers they have in the Disneyland attic?

Resolution

Dear readers, you have my humble apologies for my disappearance. Many factors contributed to this vanishing act, not least of all is my inability to say “No, I can’t add another project to my schedule.”

With the holidays and unscheduled illnesses intruding, well, you can see what happens.  I should have enough material to keep marching forward, and so I shall try to do so.

Happy 2008 to you all.

Disney Fans?

October 18, 2007 · No Comments

I’m putting together my photos from Disneyland and writing my blog post in my head. (honestly, its how I come up with the brilliance that is DisFans)

While I’m busily doing that, and a hundred Mom-type duties, I did some Disney research yesterday, and went to Disney.com. (sorry, Disney.go.com) I was somewhat disturbed to see this page. Hm. Disney Fans? Are they trying to steal my idea? disfans? Disney Fans? I dunno… but its sort of disturbing, nonetheless.

Inaugural Post

June 24, 2007 · No Comments

Welcome to Disfans! We’re happy to have you here. Disfans is the ramblings of my brother and I about all things Disney. Our favorite is Disneyland, but if Disney does it, we’ll talk about it. I feel I should mention, that this site is intended for adults, and not children.  We will use language adults use, and talk about Disney from the point of view of adults.  From time to time there may be things posted here that children will enjoy, but on the whole we’re speaking from an adult perspective.

I’m Jen,  a 30-something mom of 3 from Dallas, TX. Since I travel with all 3 kids to Disneyland at least once a year, I plan to share some travel tips and helpful hints about visiting Disney with the kids. I’ve learned a few things the hard way, and maybe I can help you on your journey.

My brother Mike is single, and lives in Southern California. He visits Disneyland more frequently than I do, and he can fill us in on some of the local information.

I hope you enjoy our site, and tell anyone you think might enjoy it too.
